Services
Exterior Painting & Staining
We thoroughly prepare the exterior by (pressure-washing of course); filling holes made by carpenter bees and woodpeckers, etc.; replacing rotten and/or sun-dried splintered wood; covering windows, exterior trim and lighting, etc.
We use the highest quality paints and stains: tinted or clear (sometimes called “sealing”), with multiple coats where appropriate to make sure that it lasts as long as possible, protecting your home. Want to change the color scheme? Ask Ashley to help you choose the look you want.
Walls, roofs, decks, stairs, railings, out-buildings, even pagodas and fencing… we can handle it all.
Pressure-Washing
Every exterior project starts with a thorough pressure washing to clear the pollen, mildew, cobwebs, and loose paint flakes. Some of our clients hire us to not only help them spring-clean each year, but also pressure-wash their home after the leaves come down in fall — sometimes with a window-washing add-on.
We offer soft and hard pressure washing. Soft washing is for gently cleaning siding, stonework and windows while maintaining the integrity of the existing paint. High-PSI washing clears paint flakes, mold — for metal roofing, sidewalks, driveways — even pre-existing oil or paint spills. We take extra care to protect your landscape plants.
Interior Painting & Staining
We’re available to paint a single room or a whole home interior. We thoroughly prepare the surfaces including removal of popcorn ceilings, filling minor holes, wallpaper removal and drywall repair; and always making sure to cover floors and furniture with drop-cloths.
Ashley’s interior design training may be just what you need for recommendations — from tranquil bedroom colors to a rowdy game room vibe.
We are precise and efficient, using the highest-quality highest-coverage Sherwin Williams® and Benjamin Moore® paints. We can also, of course, match existing colors or change the look entirely.
Deck Refurbishing
As with all exterior painting projects, it starts with pressure-washing. Afterwards, sometimes sanding is necessary to get rid of those pesky splinters or stubborn old paint that won't come off. If there are soft/rotten boards, we can replace those, too.
We will then stain (think transparent or semi-transparent) or paint (solid body stain) the surface with the product that most matches your home’s needs. We are familiar with all stain and paint products as well as capable of match existing colors, to help you make the best choices to suit your needs and budget.
Difficult Access Work
Sharp’s specializes in accessing those hard-to-reach places that you know better than to attempt yourself. Be it high ladders, roped-in roof work, or areas that need a man-lift, we’re ready to complete the job thoroughly and safely.
